The change jar- growing up my Dad kept a container on his dresser where he would put spare change. Everyday he'd empty his jingling pockets, lightening the load, and the next day they seemed to magically fill up while he was gone at work. When the container was full, we'd get a chance to share inthe bounty, off on a family adventure. Part of the fun was putting the coins in the paper funnels so we could add up the rolls and determine the value of what had been accumulated. It was fun to watch the jar fill up, to anticipate the rolls that would be filled, and ultimatly the time we'd share together spending it.
I'm reinstating the concept today. Not with coins, which I tend to spend regularly, but by commiting to my gratitude log. What small changes do you make that have added up for you? I'd love to hear.
